Carole is currently co-ordinator of the Ephemeral River Basins Project at DRFN. She has been based at the DRFN for five years contributing to various projects on a variable-time basis.
Many years ago, Carole began her career at Gobabeb where she carried out her MSc on physiological and behavioural adaptations of desert beetles. It was there that she fell in love with Namibia and decided to make it her home. Carole went on to work as a curator at the National Museum of Namibia and as an editor for Longman Namibia before combining her skills as a freelance editor, writer and researcher. She feels privileged to have contributed to many exciting projects in her various capacities, including a number of educational and regional profiles, an atlas of Namibia and many other environmental (sensu lato) reference materials.
