The Adaptation Fund is hosting the sixth Climate Finance Readiness Seminar for accredited national implementing entities (NIEs) from 5-9 August 2019 in St. John’s, Antigua & Barbuda.

The Climate Finance Readiness Seminar is an annual event that is meant to facilitate experience sharing and learning as well as provide information that is useful to NIEs in performing their implementing entity role.

Notable topics to be discussed this year include gender, innovation in climate change adaptation, and an introduction of the Adaptation Fund’s Technical Evaluation Reference Group (TERG). NIEs will also get an opportunity to interact with the TERG members on best practice in evaluation. This year has also seen a record high number of project proposal submissions (40) during the March project review cycle, and the seminar will continue in depth discussions on the issues affecting the successful delivery of concrete projects/programmes.

DRFN is represented by the Executive Director, Dr. Schneider.
