Dear stakeholders interested in Sustainable Forest Management,

It gives us great pleasure to invite you to a Panel Discussion on ‘What is Sustainable Forest Management?’.

The Panel Discussion is the first in a series of upcoming public discussions which are part of the activities of the ‘Promoting Sustainable Forest Management in the Kavango-Zambezi-Region in Namibia’ (NSFM) Project. The NSFM-Project is a 3-year project funded by the European Union and implemented by the Hanns Seidel Foundation (HSF) Namibia in collaboration with the Desert Research Foundation of Namibia (DRFN).

The Panel Discussion will be hosted by the HSF and the DRFN in collaboration with the Namibia Scientific Society. The panel will consist of Dr Jonathan Kamwi (Namibia University of Science and Technology), Mr Joseph Hailwa (Directorate of Forestry) , and Dr Clemens von Doderer (HSF).

In order to minimise the risk of contracting Covid-19, the Panel Discussion will take place online via Zoom on Tuesday, 25 February 2021, commencing at 17h30.
