The DRFN in collaboration with the Hanns Seidel Foundation and the ThinkNamibia campaign officially launched the book titled: Environmental Awareness for sustainable Development: A resource Book for Namibia on Monday 6 November 2017.
This book covers the following topics:
1. Environmental concepts and context
2. The Natural Environment
3. How we benefit from ecosystem services
4. Environmental Management: How people tackle the task of managing natural resources sustainably
This book appeals to a wide audience and the broader Namibian public and is specifically directed at students, learners and teachers as there is a lack of easily accessible educational material on environmental awareness in Namibia.
This book was written by the following authors: Svenja Garrard, Piet Heyns, Michelle Pfaffenthaler and Gabi Schneider and the public is hereby invited to collect free copies of this book at our offices during working hours.
Please call our office @061-377500 to arrange for collection of your free copy!
